Actor Vijay has officially unveiled the title and first-look poster of his highly anticipated 69th film, now titled Jana Nayagan. Taking to his social media handle on Sunday, Vijay shared the exciting news alongside a striking poster, offering fans a glimpse of his character in the film. The announcement has already set social media abuzz with enthusiasm.

Directed by H Vinoth, Jana Nayagan is touted to be a political action thriller. In the poster, Vijay is seen standing atop a vehicle, clicking a selfie amidst a massive crowd of supporters dressed in white, cheering for him. The actor sports a blue denim shirt, black pants, dark sunglasses, and a confident smile, with one hand on his waist.


Sharing the poster, Vijay kept his caption simple and powerful, writing, “#JanaNayagan.” The film’s music is composed by Anirudh, and it is produced by KVN Productions.

Jana Nayagan is an upcoming Tamil-language political action thriller. The ensemble cast includes Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Monisha Blessy, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Marking KVN Productions’ first Tamil venture, the film is set to be Vijay’s final project before his anticipated foray into politics. In February 2024, Vijay declared his entry into politics, announcing plans to contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu elections with a new party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. Speaking about his vision, he stated, “I am aiming for a corruption-free, progressive, and secular government, considering the current political climate that divides people by religion, caste, and one could witness corruption everywhere.”
