New Delhi: The trailer of 'Kushi' has been released. Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen playing the lead pair in the upcoming romantic comedy. Vijay and Samantha's wonderful chemistry was revealed to viewers through songs and posters.
The interfaith love story takes viewers into the sweet world of Aaradhya and Viplav. The 2 minutes and 41 second-long trailer begins with Viplav visiting Kashmir, where he falls in love with Samantha. In the opening scenes, Viplav is seen going after her. Both of them make every effort to convince their parents to approve of their relationship after finding that the girl is a Brahmin. They got married despite their failures at all their attempts.

The 'Kushi' film's makers earlier released a poster on social media while saying the 9th of August will mark the release of the trailer. “Bringing a glimpse from a world full of love to give you tons of Kushi ❤ #KushiTrailer on AUGUST 9th. In cinemas on SEP 1st @TheDeverakonda @Samanthaprabhu2 @ShivaNirvana @HeshamAWMusic @saregamasouth," the poster read.
'Kushi' will release in theatres on September 1. The rom-com is Vijay and Samantha's second movie together, and it is directed by Shiva Nirvana. They featured together in the 2018 movie 'Mahanati' as well.
Along with 'Kushi', Vijay Deverakonda will star in Gowtam Tinnanuri's upcoming movie starring Sreeleela, tentatively titled VD 12. Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be next seen in the Indian season of the action series 'Citadel' also starring Varun Dhawan.
