South Korean actor Ma Dong-seok, also known as Don Lee, sparked excitement among fans after giving a shoutout to Prabhas on social media. This comes just a day after shooting began for ‘Salaar Part 2’. Earlier this year, rumors circulated that Dong-seok would play the antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’, starring Prabhas.

Dong-seok took to his Instagram Stories to share a poster of ‘Salaar Part 2’ with a photo of himself and a thumbs-up emoji. A fan on X (formerly Twitter) reacted, asking if this meant he was officially confirmed for ‘Spirit’.

Meanwhile, the makers of ‘Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam’ shared a video on social media, announcing the start of shooting with a glimpse of Prabhas as Salaar. Directed by Prashanth Neel, ‘Salaar Part 2’ is set to be a major collaboration. Hombale Films founder Vijay Kiragandur expressed, "At Hombale, we believe in the power of storytelling that transcends borders. Our collaboration with Prabhas is a step towards crafting timeless cinema that will inspire and entertain for generations to come."
Meanwhile, in addition to ‘Salaar Part 2’, Prabhas has several upcoming projects, including ‘The Raja Saab’, ‘Spirit’, ‘Kalki 2’, and ‘Fauji’.
Ma Dong-seok, who debuted in 2004 with ‘Dance with the Wind’, went on to star in films such as ‘Insadong Scandal’ and ‘Perfect Game’. He gained global fame in 2016 with his role as Sang-hwa in the hit film ‘Train to Busan’. Dong-seok's Hollywood debut came in 2021 with the Marvel superhero film ‘Eternals’, where he portrayed Gilgamesh.
