New Delhi: Kannada actor Kiran Raj met with an accident a day before the release of his Kannada film 'Ronny:The Ruler'. The accident occured near Kengeri, Karnataka. As per TV9 Kannada, the actor was travelling in his black Mercedes Benz and was accompanied by a friend.

As per the same publication, the actor sustained injuries in his chest. He was also immediately rushed to a neary hospital in Kenger, where he is receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit(ICU).


News about his recovery is awaited by all. As per reports, Kiran was returning home after visiting Siddeshwar Refugee Centre.

The actor's friend who is said to be an executive producer, has reportedly escaped injuries. Hours before his accident, Kiran shared a video from his visit to the refugee centre on his Instagram Stories. In the video, Kiran is seen addressing a group of senior citizens. 


“My film is releasing on the 12th. I need all of your blessings for it to be successful”, he said as everyone is seen clapping for the actor. 


Kiran Raj is most popularly known for his role as Harsha in the Kannada series 'Kannadathi', Kiran is awaiting the release of his film 'Ronny: The Ruler'.
