Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection: ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, starring Prabhas, released in theatres on Thursday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Nag Ashwin directorial sci-fi flick has opened to great reception. Along with rave reviews from fans, the film has also minted Rs 32.97 crore so far, as per a Sacnilk.com report. 'Kalki 2898 AD' is also expected to collect Rs 200 crore globally on opening day.

The ticket booking site crashed due to the increase in advance bookings in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. In the domestic circuit, 'Kalki 2898 AD' has reportedly sold over 20 lakh advance tickets in all languages, according to Sacnilk. 


Ahead of the film’s release, the makers, Vyjayanthi Movies, shared a note on X (formerly Twitter) urging people stay away from piracy. It read, “This is a journey of 4 long years and this is the story of immense hard work put in by Nag Ashwin and team. There was no stone unturned in bringing this story to a global scale, there was no looking back or compromising on the quality. Blood and sweat have been put in by the team to bring this forward.
