South star Thalapathy Vijay's latest release, 'GOAT', will soon stream on OTT platform. The actor’s much-awaited 68th film, ‘The Greatest Of All Time’, premiered in theaters worldwide on September 5.
Thalapathy Vijay's GOAT on OTT
The film will release on Netflix after its theatrical run. Trade experts estimate that Thalapathy Vijay's 'GOAT' would make almost Rs 100 crore on its first day of release. Reportedly, the film's estimated cost of production or budget has been around Rs. 300-400 crore. The movie will be available to fans on Netflix. The release date for OTT has not yet been announced.
The sci-fic action thriller stars Vijay as a R&AW agent. Gandhi( Vijay) is a special field agent, who specialises in espionage and hostage negotiation. He works for the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS), which is under RAW. After retiring and leaving the squad, serious issues arise due to actions taken during their field duty days as young agents come back to haunt.
The movie's producer, Archana Kalpathi, opened up about her collaborations with actor Thalapathy Vijay and director Venkat Prabhu. In an interview with IndiaToday, she said, “My only request to the audience is for them to come with an open mind. We have tried a lot of new things. Try not to read all the spoilers. I’m confident that the film will have a repeat audience as it has a lot of layers. But, when you see it for the first time without knowing the script, it will elevate the experience."

'Thalapathy Vijay is The GOAT' is the title given by the makers to the Hindi version of the movie. This film marks Vijay's first film following his announcement that he would foray into politics.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, 'GOAT' also stars Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vaibhav Reddy, Yogi Babu Premgi Amaren, and Yugendran.
