New Delhi: Balakrishna's upcoming film with Anil Ravipudi has a title. Previously being called #NBK108, the film has been titled 'Bhagavanth Kesari'. The makers shared the poster of the film along with the announcement. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on his official Twitter handle alongwith the poster announcement.
Taran Adarsh wrote, "BALAKRISHNA - ANIL RAVIPUDI PROJECT GETS A TITLE… #BhagavanthKesari is the title of #NandamuriBalakrishna and director #AnilRavipudi’s forthcoming #Telugu film [#NBK108]… Title announcement poster…Also features #ArjunRampal, #KajalAggarwal and #Sreeleela… Produced by #SahuGarapati and #HarishPeddi… #Dussehra2023 release."
In the announcement poster, we see Balakrishna in a khakee kurta and black trousers all dust with a scarf around his neck. In the backdrop, we see industrial areas in the backdrop. Balakrishna seems to be holding a weapon in his hand. The salt-and-pepper look of the poster also has the state emblem of India, making us wonder what the film will be about.
The poster of 'Bhagavanth Kesari' also carries the caption "I don't care." The filmmakers shared the poster on Thursday. The poster suggests that Bhagavanth Kesari is Balakrishna's character name in the film.
As per earlier reports, Anil Ravipudi has stated that this film will be different from others he has done so far. 'Bhagavanth Kesari' will show Balakrishna in a whole new avatar too. As per an ETimes report, the makers put up 108 hoardings in 108 locations. There is also a whole new surprise also planned around Balakrishna's birthday on June 10.
'Bhagavanth Kesari' also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Sreeleela in lead roles. The film will also feature Arjun Rampal as the villain.
The music of 'Bhagavanth Kesari' is composed by Thaman S with C Ram Prasad doing the cinematography. Tammi Raju will be editing the film while V Venkat will be the action choreographer.
The film is currently in the shooting stage in Hyderabad.
