Aamir Khan, famously known as Mr. Perfectionist, is currently busy filming his upcoming project, 'Sitaare Zameen Par', which is slated for a December release. According to a recent report from the Telugu entertainment portal Aakashavaani, shared via their X handle, Aamir is in advanced talks with South Indian director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a highly-anticipated pan-India film.
While neither Aamir nor Lokesh has confirmed the news, discussions are reportedly ongoing between Aamir, Lokesh, and the production house Mythri Movie Makers. If all goes well, an official announcement could be made soon.

Aakashavaani's post on Sunday stated, "BIG BREAKING – A Mindblowing Combo!! #AamirKhan, #LokeshKanagaraj, and #MythriMovies are teaming up for a PAN India film soon. According to our very reliable sources, the project is CONFIRMED."

Lokesh Kanagaraj is known for directing films such as 'Maanagaram', 'Kaithi', 'Master' (starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi), and 'Vikram' with South Superstar Kamal Haasan. His most recent directorial effort was the 2023 action thriller 'Leo', featuring Thalapathy Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, and Trisha, which received a decent response from fans and critics.
