New Delhi: Vijay's film release 'Leo' is being celebrated like a festival across South India. The Lokesh Kanagaraj film released on October 19 amid mixed reviews. While fans and audiences hailed Vijay's performance in the film, many are calling 'Leo' a 'mediocre' film and one of the lesser works of Lokesh Kanagaraj. Interestingly, a rather unusual incident took place at one of the theatres in Pudukottai which was screening 'Leo'.
A couple got engaged at the theatre premises. Venkatesh, who is a big fan of Vijay. and Manjula decided to get engaged in a theatre.

Venkatesh was quoted in a report by Hindustan Times, "I have neither mother nor father. Vijay is everything to me. That's why I got engaged in his presence.”
“I have been waiting for this for 8 months. Tomorrow our marriage is going to take place in Perumal temple,” the groom-to-be added in the same report.
‘Leo’ has been released to mixed reviews. Despite a mixed response from critics, Vijay’s loyal fans have been thronging theatres and celebrating the film’s release like a festival.
‘Leo’ is an action thriller film directed by Lokesh Kanagarj and produced by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Madonna Sebastian, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Priya Anand and others.
The film is also part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe and is the third film inspired from the 1997 graphic novel 'A History of Violence'.
