Sonali Bendre Recalls Her Journey Of Fighting Cancer: ‘Remember To Take One Day At A Time’

Today, on Cancer Survivors Day, the ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ actress shared her journey of fighting the deadly disease. She shared a collage of two of her pictures. In one picture, she can be seen in a hospital bed undergoing treatment and in the other picture, Bendre can be spotted all healthy and happy. Read on.

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in the year 2018. The ‘Sarfarosh’ actress shared the news on her social media and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in New York.

Today, on Cancer Survivors Day, the ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ actress shared her journey of fighting the deadly disease. She shared a collage of two of her pictures. In one picture, she can be seen in a hospital bed undergoing treatment and in the other picture, Bendre can be spotted all healthy and happy.

While sharing the post, Sonali Bendre wrote, “How time flies... today when I look back, I see strength, I see weakness but most importantly I see the will to not let the C word define how my life will be after it...You create the life you choose. The journey is what you make of it... so remember to take #OneDayAtATime and to #SwitchOnTheSunshine”.

The Bollywood diva was last seen starring in a cameo role in the 2013 movie ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara!’. Sonali Bendre was a model before starting her acting career. She got her first role at the age of 19 in the 1994 movie ‘Aag’. She then went to feature in several other movies including ‘Sarfarosh’, ‘Rakshak’, Duplicate’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Lajja’ and many others.

Sonali Bendre is married to filmmaker and entrepreneur Goldie Behl and the couple has a son named Ranveer.
