As per reports, the wedding festivities have begun in Nagaur's Khimsar Fort where the couple got engaged in 2021. Khimsar Fort is said to be more than 500 years old.

New Delhi: Union Minister Smriti Irani's daughter Shanelle Irani is all set to tie the knot with her fiance Arjun Bhalla on Thursday, February 9, 2023 in Rajasthan. After Vicky-Katrina's wedding, Hansika-Sohael wedding and now Kiara-Sidharth wedding, Rajasthan seems to have become a favoruite spot for grand weddings once again.

As per reports, the wedding festivities have begun in Nagaur's Khimsar Fort where the couple got engaged in 2021. Khimsar Fort is said to be more than 500 years old. The fort has been turned into a heritage hotel and belongs to BJP leader Gajendra Singh.

The Union Minister and her daughter Zoish Irani landed in Rajasthan on Wednesday morning and will travel to the wedding venue by road. Smirti Irani's husband Zubin Irani arrived at the fort a day earlier, reported India Today. The wedding ceremony is expected to take place on Thursday while the haldi and mehendi ceremonies will be held today.

Shanelle Irani is Smriti Irani's husband Zubi Irani's daughter from his first marriage with Mona. She completed her law education from Government Law College in Mumbai and holds an LLM degree from Georgetown University Law Centre, Washington DC. Meanwhile, Arjun holds an MBA degree and lives in Canada, with his family.

Smriti's kids Zohr and Zoish will also be present as well.

As per India Today report, 250 guests from both the Irani and Bhalla families will be present. Besides, many eminent personalities will also be attending tomorrow. Shanelle and Arjun are expected to host a grand musical night after the haldi and mehendi ceremonies today as well.

On December 5, 2021, Arjun and Shanelle had been engaged in the same fort in Rajasthan. Smriti Irani had congratulated the couple by posting a picture of Arujin on one knee putting a ring on Shanelle's finger. "To the man who now has our heart. Welcome to our mad cap family. Bless you for you have to deal with a crazy man for a father in law and worse me for a Saas. (You have been officially warned) God bless," read her heartwarming yet hilarious caption on Instagram.
