In a recent video shared by actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, her daughter Samisha is seen looking out for a little bird. Samisha, who will turn two years old next month, spotted an injured bird in their backyard and was worried about her.

The video which she shared on Instagram shows her little one praying, Shetty asks her, "Samisha are you praying, praying for the birdie to get better? Did the Birdie get a boo boo?" She then shows Shetty the injured bird and says “Birdie boo boo." The little one was worried about this little bird and said, “Birdie die!” To calm her down, Shetty said, “No baby, birdie is not dying yet. She will be better.”

Samisha then folded her hands and closed her eyes to make a little prayer and the actress joined her and chanted “Om, Om Sai Ram”. Samisha walked backwards to find a spot to sit and began chanting the gayatri mantra. She just wanted to get the bird to feel better to which Shilpa commented, "Oh my God, so many prayers. Now the birdie will definitely get better."

The bird, a little Raven, was later rescued by PETA.

Shilpa shared the post and captioned it “Kids truly have the purest hearts. It’s amazing to see Samisha (who is not yet 2) feel compassion and empathy, and instinctively know when someone needs prayer and some unconditional love. The power of prayer and faith makes the world go round. Wish we remember that more as grown-ups. Thank you, @petaindia, for rescuing the injured baby raven.”

Samisha turns two on 15th February.
