Akon to perform at Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2024

A major highlight of the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2024 is its impressive lineup of international talent. Leading the way is Senegalese-American pop star Akon, known for chart-topping hits like “Smack That” and “Lonely.” After performing earlier this year at the high-profile wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, Akon will return to India for an exclusive live show that is sure to be one of the festival’s biggest moments.

Also creating buzz is Maizie Williams of the iconic pop group Boney M, who will be performing as part of her farewell world tour. Boney M, known for timeless hits like "Rivers of Babylon" and "Rasputin," holds a special place in the hearts of Indian fans.
