Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan

Aishwarya, who married actor Abhishek Bachchan in 2007, welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011. The couple generally keeps their personal lives private. However, their separate arrivals at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s star-studded wedding in Mumbai in July sparked public interest. While Abhishek attended with his parents, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, his sister Shweta Bachchan, and his niece and nephew, Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda, Aishwarya arrived separately with Aaradhya.

On the professional front, Aishwarya's latest appearance was in "Ponniyin Selvan 2," directed by Mani Ratnam. In this sequel to the 2022 film "Ponniyin Selvan: I," she portrayed two characters, Nandini and Mandakini Devi.
