New Delhi: Bollywood's one of the most iconic pairs of actors Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, has been loved by the audience over the years. The actors, who are also best friends in real life, never fail to cast a spell with their incredible chemistry, making the audience go gaga.

If reports are to be believed, the duo might treat fans to their impeccable chemistry once again, with a special appearance in Karan Johar's directorial venture 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'. Fans have been eagerly awaiting to see the actors join hands, after their 2015 film 'Dilwale', which was a reprised version of their blockbuster 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge'.

Karan Johar, who made his directorial debut with 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji in lead roles, is also a close friend of the actors. The director, who considers the actors as his lucky charm, often treats the audience to their special appearances, in songs or scenes.

A source close to leading news publication said, "Shah Rukh and Kajol might make a special appearance in Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani that features Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles.”

However, the source did not reveal if the actors will be making a special appearance in a song or one of the scenes.

Karan Johar has donned the director's hat once again, after 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' has Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. Veteran actors Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan will be seen essaying pivotal roles in the film. It is slated to hit theatres in February 2023.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has some interesting projects in his kitty. He will be seen in a power-packed avatar in the action-thriller 'Pathaan'. He also has Atlee's film opposite south actress Nayanthara and Rajkumar Hiran's 'Dunki', along side Taapsee Pannu.

Kajol, on the other hand, will be seen in 'The Last Hurrah' directed by Revathie.
