The second wave of COVID-19 proved to be fatal for many and while the country is struggling to cope up with the deadly virus, many TV celebs including Nikki Tamboli, Sneha Wagh, Bhavya Gandhi and more recently lost their family members due to coronavirus complications.
Former Bigg Boss contestant and actress Sambhavna Seth too recently lost her father SK Seth due to COVID-19. And while the bereaved actress is mourning her father’s death, on Wednesday morning, she shared a cryptic post on her social media.
Her post read, “My father could have been saved. It was not just covid which killed him” along with a throwback picture of her late father from her wedding.
Soon as she shared the post on Instagram may popular TV celebs including Vikas Gupta, Sushant Digvikr, Rakhi Sawant, Nisha Rawal, Jasleem Matharu, Suyyash Rai and more, expressed grief and dropped sad face emojis in the comment section.
It was last month in April when the Bigg Boss contestant announced her father testing positive for COVID-19, asking for help. In her request she was asking if anyone would arrange a hospital bed for her father.
Her post read, “Can anybody help to get a bed in Jaipur Golden Hospital, Pitampura, Delhi as its closest to my house. My father is Covid positive and he needs a bed urgently. He is waiting outside the hospital with my brother.”
Unfortunately her father succumbed to the Covid complications and breathed his last on May 9. Sambhavana’s husband Avinash Dwivedi shared the sad news with fans on social media.
Though it is not clear from Sambhavna’s post what she means but is she hinting at the medical negligence? Recently Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Meera Chopra too blamed lack of medical infrastructure instead of coronavirus as the reason for two of her cousin’s death in last 10 days.
Earlier, actor and YouTuber Rahul Vohra’s wife Jyoti Tiwari too alleged medical negligence for her husband's death due to Covid-19. She sought justice for him as she shared a heart-breaking video of her late husband from the hospital where he was receiving treatment for the deadly virus.
Rahul Vohra breathed his last owing to Covid-19 complications. He was 35 and was admitted to Delhi's Rajeev Gandhi super speciality hospital undergoing treatment for Covid-19.
The news of Vohra's death comes just a day after he posted on Facebook saying he could have been saved had he received proper treatment and he will be born again soon.
