The year the celebrations for Durga Puja just aren't the same as usual, something that even actress Rani Mukerji feels. She shared how in the low key celebrations she will miss meeting her family for the Durga Puja.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Rani said, "I think what we are missing the most is the fact that once a year all the family members come together under one roof, but this year that is not going to happen. We also enjoy feeding so many people who come to visit our puja with our own hands".
"I think there is so much that has happened this year that to let go of one year of celebration is the most sensible decision that the family and the puja committee members have taken. We look forward to doing it next year once everything is better," she added.

The actress also revealed her plans at home as to how she is going to celebrate the occasion with daughter Adira.
"I will definitely be doing a small puja in my house, as my daughter is still very young, and I want to keep the tradition alive. So, I am going to do the Kanjak Puja on Ashtami, which I do every year. I have got new clothes made for my daughter, Adira, and I am sure that I will find a new sari for myself in my closet," Rani said.
Rani shared that amid the lockdown, she got to spend more time with her daughter at home. Adira's online education kept her busy. But as a mother, she is concerned about how the child is missing out and unable to do so many things she would do earlier.
On the work front, the actress completed shooting for her next film 'Bunty Aur Babli 2' amid the pandemic. The sequel of Bunty Aur Babli stars Rani, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh. Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Varun V. Sharma, the film's release date has not been announced.
