New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor's latest performance in the film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ has expanded his already outstanding acting resume. Ranbir made an appearance on Awkward Interview with Netflix to promote the recent release of ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ on OTT. Ranbir Kapoor has also just dropped a significant indication that Aditya Roy Kapur is dating Ananya Panday.

Ranbir Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, who portrayed best friends in the smash hit film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, are quite close in real life as well. It's no secret that they have a special connection.

RK dropped a huge clue in a recent interview on the romantic status of Aditya and Ananya. He was in a conversation with Comedian Aishwarya Mohanraj. The show is called ‘Awkward Interview’ for a reason: it features interviews that may get as uncomfortable as possible. 

Aishwarya said that she had feelings for Aditya Roy Kapur and that the two had even been married for a short while. Ranbir contacted Aditya and confirmed Aishwarya's statements. 

During their chat, Ranbir spilt the bean about Aditya's dating life and said, "I know he likes a girl starting with the letter A," supposedly hinting at Ananya Panday.

The relationship rumours sparked between Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday after they spent time together at Kriti Sanon's Diwali bash in 2022.

Ranbir's character Mickey in ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’, an expert in the field of separating couples, has gained him praise once again. In the same interview, Ranbir also said that he has counselled friends who were considering a breakup. He remembered giving breakup advice to his friends who were not in happy relationships.

He said, “I mean I am sure that I have advised some friends who want to kind of get out of relationships in school and all. You just have to be honest if you aren’t in love with someone or if you are falling in love with somebody else. But I have not devised a plan.”
