New Delhi: Veteran actor and BJP member Hema Malini is all set to perform as Sita in the Ramayana that will be held in Ayodhya. The 'Dream Girl' of Bollywood expressed her excitement over the same during an interview with news agency ANI.


Talking about her performance, Hema Malini said, "I have come to Ayodhya for the first time. I am going to perform in the Ramayana as Sita. This programme has been organised by Swami Rambhadracharya... He has organised a 10-day programme. I am fortunate to be here during this time... The whole of Bollywood is 'Ramamay'... The artists are singing Ram songs. I also sang a Ram Bhajan last year... Everybody is preparing everything on Ram..."

Actor Vindu Dara Singh, is also going to be a part of the Ramayana and will be essaying the role of Hanuman. Talking about it, he said, "Lord has come in the form of human avatars, as Yogi and Modi. The work of Yogi and Modi is essential. This time, BJP will win 400 plus seats. My father, Dara Singh, had a dream that the country would change. In 15 years, children will get a country to be proud of. Today, it is happening. Climbing this stage is a different pleasure. I am visiting Hanumangarhi. Ayodhya feels better than expected. The day is not far when Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, all will vote for BJP."


The Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony is all set to take place on January 22 in Ayodhya. The newly constructed Ram Temple will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
