Earlier, PM Modi visited Guruvayur temple in the state. The Prime Minister, clad in traditional attire consisting of 'mundu' and 'veshti' (white shawl), offered prayers at the temple. Later, he took part in the wedding ceremony of actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi's daughter.


On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi undertook a grand roadshow conducted in the port city. This constituted the second such event in a state where the party has faced defeats in previous polls.














Scores of BJP workers and local residents lined both sides of the 1.3 km road to extend a warm welcome to the Prime Minister. His visit to the city encompassed engagements in private, public, and party functions in the Ernakulam and Thrissur districts on Wednesday. The roadshow commenced from the KPCC junction at 7:45 pm, featuring an open vehicle carrying Prime Minister Modi, accompanied by BJP state president K Surendran. The procession progressed at a pace captivating party workers who expressed their enthusiasm through the showering of flowers and chanting of slogans.














Around 8:15 pm, PM's vehicle reached Ernakulam government guest house, concluding the roadshow. The entire route was secured with thousands of police personnel to safeguard Prime Minister Modi's safety. There had been traffic restrictions in place in the port city, especially along the roadshow route, since Tuesday afternoon.
