New Delhi: Superstar Rajinikanth, who was hospitalized on December 25 due to his blood pressure level, has been under observation since then. Yesterday, the medical team of Apollo Hospital revealed in a statement that the ‘Andha Kanoon’ actor is progressing well and has been kept under close monitoring.
Now, according to the latest update, all the medical investigation reports have come in and there is nothing alarming. The hospital released a statement which read, “All the investigations reports have come in and there is nothing alarming in the reports. The team of doctors will evaluate him this afternoon and take a decision on his discharge. Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad”
Before the implementation of the nationwide lockdown, the ‘Thalaiva’ was shooting for his upcoming film 'Annaatthe' along with Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh. But the filming came to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, after the lockdown protocols eased, the superstar started shooting for ‘Annaatthe’ again on December 14, 2020. After a few days of shooting, the filming of the Rajinikanth starrer movie had to stop again as four of the movie’s crew members tested positive for COVID-19. Soon after, the ‘Billa’ actor had isolated himself but was admitted to the hospital for close monitoring of his fluctuating blood pressure.
Rajinikanth made his debut in the K. Balachander's 1975 Tamil drama ‘Apoorva Raagangal’. Since then, there has been no stopping for the actor as he went to star in several movies which made his mark in the film industry. Rajinikanth has won many awards including ‘Padma Bhushan’ and ‘Padma Vibhushan’. He has also won many international awards for his contribution in the field of cinema.
