Shilpa Shetty who is going through a tough time in personal life ever since her husband, Raj Kundra was arrested for his alleged involvement in a pornography case may go public for the first time post the whole controversy.



Shilpa has maintained a dignified silence has the actress has not been snapped ever since her husband’s arrest, the actress also cancelled her regular appearances on her on-going TV show. And now, according to several online reports, Shilpa Shetty is expected to join several international celebrities for a Covid-19 fundraiser event. A report in TOI states that, hosted by actor Rajkummar Rao, a videothon will be live streamed on a social media platform and it will be attended by many Bollywood and international stars like Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Ek Sheeran and Steven Spielberg among others.


Meanwhile, Raj Kundra's 14-day judicial custody ends today(August 10, Tuesday) however, his release may be hindered as the Mumbai Police is expected to produce Sherlyn Chopra's statement against the businessman in Mumbai Sessions Court.


Last week the actress finally broke her silence surrounding the on-going controversy and issued an official statement on social media while requesting everyone to respect her family’s privacy. "



Raj Kundra, a British national was arrested by the Mumbai Police on July 19, and was sent to the judicial custody till August 10.


Kundra was charged under various sections of Indian Penal Code, the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, for allegedly making pornographic content and distributing them through porn apps like HotShots.
