More trouble for Gehana Vasisth! Case registered against the actress and three producers of Raj Kundra's company in the sensational pornography case has been handed over to the Property Cell of Mumbai Police Crime Branch,informed police on Thursday.
The case was registered at Malvani Police Station against Gehana Vashisht, who is currently on bail, she was earlier arrested in February 2021 in the pornography case. The actress who is a co-accused in the sensational pornography case in which businessman Raj Kundra has been named as the ‘key conspitrator’ is facing some serious allegations by victims who recorded their detailed statements in police recently.
In a statement to ANI with regards to the Pornography case, Mumbai Police said, "Case registered against 3 producers of the company of businessman & actor Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra & actor Gehana Vasisth handed over to the Property Cell of Mumbai Police Crime Branch. The case was registered at Malvani Police Station".
Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police late on July 19 along with 11 other people on charges related to the alleged creation of pornographic films. The businessman is currently on judicial custody till August 10.
A Mumbai court Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, S.B. Bhajipale, on Wednesday refused to grant bail to businessman Raj Kundra and his associate Ryan Thorpe in the case pertaining to alleged production and distribution of porn content.
Kundra has been charged under various sections of Indian Penal Code, the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, for allegedly making pornographic content and distributing them through porn apps like HotShots.
