Mumbai: The Raj Kundra pornography case is coming up with new twists and turns every now and then. Ever since Shilpa Shetty’s husband got arrested on July 19 for the alleged production of pornographic movies, a number of celebrities including his wife and Gehana Vasisth, came out in support of the businessman claiming that the content on his app was ‘erotic’ and cannot be called ‘porn’.
However, some celebrities like Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra reportedly claimed that they were being ‘pushed into the business’. Gehana Vasisth, who got arrested earlier this year for the alleged production of porn movies revealed in one of her interviews that both Poonam and Sherlyn are ‘lying’.
Now, according to the latest update, after sending summon to Gehana Vasisth in the Raj Kundra pornography case, the Crime Branch has summoned model and actress Sherlyn Chopra. The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has reportedly asked the actress to appear before them and record her statement tomorrow (July 27) at 11 am in connection to the pornography case.
A few days ago, after Raj Kundra got arrested, Sherlyn Chopra shared a video of her on her Instagram. While sharing the video, Sherlyn wrote in Hindi, “For the past few days many journalists and media reporters have been calling me, messaging me on WhatsApp, emailing me and asking me to come forward and say something on this subject. Let me tell you that the person who first gave a statement on this subject to Maharashtra Cyber, it is none other than me.”

Meanwhile, Raj Kundra’s police custody has been extended till July 27, 2021.
