The Buckingham Palace on Thursday (April 15) announced the list of 30 guests who will attend the funeral of Prince Philip, who passed away at the age of 99. The Royal Family shared the names of 30 guests who will join Queen Elizabeth II at the funeral of Duke Of Edinburgh at Windsor Castle. Prince Philip will be laid to rest on Saturday (April 17) at London's Sr George's Chapel. 


The likes of Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Penelope Knatchbull, Lady Sarah Chatto will attend Prince Philip's funeral service.

As reported in the media, Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle will not attend the funeral as she has been advised to not travel in her third trimester.

"The Duke of Edinburgh’s Funeral will be a “Ceremonial Royal Funeral”, the same as that of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. It will not be a “State Funeral” - something that is generally reserved for Monarchs," The Royal Family said in a statement. 


Dean of Windsor will conduct the Funeral Service, which is expected to last for approximately 50 minutes. According to the statement, The Royal Family members will wear 'Day Dress or Morning Coat with medals'.

A small choir of four will sing pieces of music, which were  chosen by The Duke of Edinburgh at the funeral service. The choir will stay away from the seated congregation and there will be no congregational singing. 


The funeral will broadcast live on TV and radio.
