New Delhi: Maniesh Paul has recently opened up about his physical makeover where he had the task of acquiring 10 kgs and then dropping 15 kgs within a span of four months for his upcoming show- 'Rafuchakkar'. In the show, Maniesh, who portrays a con man with five distinct looks in the show, must look perfect in each avatar, including weight gain and loss. In one, he had to put on weight to depict a pot-bellied, chubby middle-aged guy, while in the other, he was required to assume the appearance of a ripped bodybuilder.

To achieve such extreme fitness goals, Maniesh Paul had to maintain a strict exercise schedule. Maniesh exercised frequently and adhered to a strict diet in order to gain and lose weight in four months. Additionally, he abandoned all diet constraints and gorged himself on food for two months in order to gain 10 kg. After that, it required a demanding 2.5 months to not only reduce weight but also to develop muscles and a ripped body.

In a conversation with the Bombay Times, Manish Paul spoke about such an extreme transformation that he had to undergo in a span of four months. He shared, "I have always been a fitness enthusiast, although not a gym freak but I have been working for a healthy body. However, Rafuchakkar put me on a roller coaster ride of physical transformation."

He also spoke about his character in the web series saying, "As I play a con artist, I have five different looks and avatars. Shedding my fit-healthy body for one of the looks as Pawan Kumar Bawariya, I had to resemble an ordinary middle-class and middle-aged guy with a paunch, for which I gained 10 Kg. For another look, I had to lose weight as well as gain muscles to play a gym trainer."

"As I had just finished Jugjugg Jeeyo, I had hardly four months to do these drastic changes.", he further added.

'Rafuchakkar' is all set to stream on Jio Cinema from June 15. In addition to Maniesh Paul, the show also stars Sushant Singh and Priya Bapat among others.
