‘Pathaan’ beat the previous record holder, KGF: Chapter 2, for the largest three-day opening weekend in India in the Hindi language by a margin of roughly Rs. 20 cr nett.

'Pathaan' also created two new records – the fastest Hindi film to breach 300 crores worldwide barrier and secondly, becoming the first Hindi film to collect over 300 crores gross on its opening weekend!

On Saturday evening, Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared an update on the movie, writing: "‘PATHAAN’: ₹ 313 CR WORLDWIDE *GROSS* IN 3 DAYS… #Pathaan is the FASTEST #Hindi film to breach ₹ 300 cr mark [GROSS] in *3 days*…"

With this, the film's domestic three-day net profits might reach Rs 162 crore. Box Office India also announced through Twitter that the film's global gross had surpassed Rs 300 crore.

The movie's review on ABP Live read: "In terms of performances, Shah Rukh Khan is back King-style in this action-entertainer. Thankfully, the brooding spy hero gets a makeover with the charm and charisma only a megastar like SRK carries. Shah Rukh Khan has the suave, style, and substance of a spy hero, only he does it even better."

Pathaan has become a must-watch theatrical entertainer which is being celebrated across the nation. ‘Pathaan’ is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe. The film has been directed by Siddharth Anand.
