Parineeti Chopra Calls 'Unchai' Director Sooraj Barjatya A Maestro Of Humility And Family Entertainers

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has geared up for an exciting project. The 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' actress will be seen in filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s next.Parineeti began shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s directorial ‘Uunchai’ towards the end of last year.
She kept the fans happy by sharing the BTS from her sets on her Instagram stories. The actress has been shooting in Nepal for the film.

The actress recently opened up about her experience of working with Sooraj Barjatya. This is Parineeti’s first collaboration with the director. In a recent interview with Mid-Day, the actress revealed how she was awestruck by the director. She said, “Working with Sooraj sir has been a dream for any actor, including me. He is the maestro of family entertainers. My parents were thrilled when I told them that Sooraj sir has cast me in 'Uunchai'.”
The narrative of the film revolves around friendship-drama and also features big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Nafisa Ali and Neena Gupta among others.
Parineeti further added how Barjatya is a very humble person and said, “Sooraj sir is an even better person than I had imagined. Simply by being himself, he is a masterclass in humility. I can’t believe that Sooraj sir, who has created milestones in Indian cinema, has chosen me to be a part of his cinematic vision.”
Speaking about her upcoming projects, Parineeti said, “One needs to constantly collaborate with people who can push you to excel, and better your craft.”
The actress had a busy 2021 with three releases- ‘Saina’, ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ and ‘The Girl on The Train’. Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal' is also in the pipeline for her. She will be seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
