New Delhi: 'Made In Heaven 2' is about to be premiere on Prime Video on August 10. The Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur show supported by an ensemble cast has been directed by headline by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. The show also stars Mona Singh, Elnaaz Norouzi, Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Shashank Arora, Dia Mirza, Mrunal Thakur and more. Recently, in an interaction, Elnaaz who plays a bride in the show mentioned that Zoya wanted Sonam Kapoor to play the part initially. Elnaaz added that perhaps Sonam could not do the part due to dates of pregnancy, it ultimately went to her.


In an interview with India Today, Elnaaz shared that Zoya initially wanted actor Sonam Kapor to play the role of the bride she plays in 'Made In Heaven 2'. "I always say even if Zoya Akhtar asks me to play a tree in her movie, I would play the tree. There was no question for me whether to consider it or not. I was rather worried whether I would be considered or not (for Made In Heaven 2),"Elnaaz said.


Known for Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane's 'Sacred Games', Elnaaz added, "I remember Zoya wanted Sonam Kapoor for the role that I did. I don't know what it was... I think she was pregnant at that moment or her dates didn't work out... I don't know what it was. But when I auditioned, I thought they must be looking for a big superstar and I was just an outsider, (I thought) I was not going to get this role. But yay! I auditioned, it was fine. I don't think Zoya Akhtar would want me. All I know is that Zoya was asking, 'Who is this girl? I don't know this girl. She is great, I want her'. So, obviously, there was no question (about saying no to it)."


Made In Heaven 2


'Made In Heaven 2' will be returning after four long years. The much-anticipated season will reprise the role of Sobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur as wedding planners of the company called 'Made In Heaven'. The two along with their team will enter the business of weddings soon.


'Made In Heaven 2' will also have new cast additions besides the actors reprising their roles from Season 1. This time, Radhika Apte, Shibani Dandekar, Sarah Jane Dias, Mrunal and Elnaaz will be making a return.
