New Delhi: Zoya Akhtar has been building quite some excitement around her upcoming film 'The Archies'. Zoya shared a series of character posters of her cast- Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor. Zoya shared vintage posters of leading stars who are portraying roles of Veronica Lodge, Archie Andrews, and Betty Cooper respectively.
The posters shared by Zoya give a glimpse of the characters' essence.
Zoya Akhtar shared Khushi Kapoor's poster, "Love has four letters and so does cake. Betty Cooper is all for both 🥰 Meet Betty and The Archies on 7th December, only on Netflix!"
Zoya shared Suhana Khan's poster with the caption, "Few things impress Veronica like herself 💅Meet Ronnie and The Archies on 7th December, only on Netflix!"
In the Netflix film, Suhana Khan will play the role of Veronica. Suhana Khan will be making her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's film.
Agastya Nanda is playing Reggie in the Archies film.
'The Archies' directed by Zoya Akhtar is a live-action musical movie inspired by the American comic series of the same name. Set in the 1960s, the film will talk about friendships, freedom, love, heartbreak and rebeillion through the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel, and Dilton in the fictional town of Riverdale.
The cast also includes Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina.
Zoya Akhtar's last film 'Gully Boy' starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead was also a blockbuster success.
