Undekhi Season 3 Review: SonyLiv brought a remarkable series in 2020 and 2022 titled 'Undekhi'. Its first season debuted in 2020, followed by the second in 2022, both of which were well-received by audiences. Now, after two years, 'Undekhi Season 3' has arrived, continuing the saga initiated by its predecessors.

Plot

The narrative delves into familial politics, showcasing how individuals become pawns in the game of politics. The Atwal family finds themselves confronting their own history within the confines of their home. As the family politics unfold, buried secrets are unearthed, breeding animosity among kin. The series is punctuated by numerous murders, each intricately linked to one another.

What to Expect

'Undekhi Season 3' is a gripping tale filled with romance, suspense, and thrills. If you're a fan of murder mysteries and drama, this series is sure to captivate you. Each season leaves you at a juncture that seamlessly leads to the next, and this season is no exception. An attempt has been made to incorporate Punjabi dialogues, attempt because Punjabi is mixed with Hindi which sounds weird at times.

Acting

The series boasts a talented cast including Harsh Chhaya, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Surya Sharma, Aanchal G Singh, Ankur Rathee, Ayn Zoya, Shivangi Singh, Vaarun Bhagat, and Varun Badola. Dibyendu Bhattacharya's performance stands out, with Varun Badola making a memorable entry. Surya Sharma impresses in his portrayal of the gangster 'Rinku'.

Direction

Directed by Ashish Shukla, 'Undekhi Season 3' consists of 8 episodes. The direction is commendable, although at times, it feels like the storyline struggles to connect with the series' past. However, Ashish Shukla has justified each character's arc, ensuring everyone gets adequate screen space.

'Undekhi Season 3' is a compelling watch, offering a rollercoaster ride of emotions and intrigue, making it a worthy addition to the series.
