New Delhi: The makers of 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' (TGIKS) unveiled the new promo of the upcoming episode of the show on Tuesday, teasing viewers with the promise of a laughter-filled extravaganza featuring Indian cricket stars Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer. The show. Streaming on Netflix is hosted by stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma. 


The promo kicks off with an enthusiastic audience chanting, "India India," setting the tone for the electrifying atmosphere to follow. In the clip, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer can be seen showcasing their dance moves alongside cheerleaders, igniting the audience's excitement.

The promo offers a glimpse into the 'unfiltered' episode, as Kapil Sharma engages Rohit Sharma in a candid conversation. Kapil asks Rohit, "There are mics nowadays on the stumps. Does it ever happen that you've gotten mad at someone?" Rohit responds in jest, "Kar bhi kya sakta hun, ye hamare ladke sust murge hain, bhagte nahi hain. (What can I do? Our boys are lazy bums. They just don't run.)”  




The banter continues as Kapil Sharma queries Rohit about peculiar advice he has received. Kapil asks Rohit: "Who's given you weird advice?" to which Rohit says, "You must've noticed in the airports that cricketers usually go around with their headphones on. They just don't do it for style!" 


Sunil Grover then entertains Rohit Sharma with his comic antics. He asks the cricketer," I had a small task for you. As a player, I wanted a place in the team. And it is not that I want to be the opening batsman in the team." 


Rohit replies: "Forget about opening." 


Kapil Sharma as Navjot Singh Sidhu
The promo culminates with Kapil Sharma dressing up as Navjot Singh Sidhu, delivering a witty shayari in Sidhu's trademark style, evoking hearty laughs from the audience. 


For those unfamiliar, Navjot Singh Sidhu was a fixture on Kapil Sharma's earlier shows, 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' and 'The Kapil Sharma Show,' before being succeeded by actress Archana Puran Singh.
