New Delhi: After a long absence of five years, Navjot Singh Sidhu, the former judge on Kapil Sharma’s reality chat show, is making his return. The exciting news was revealed in an upcoming promo for ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, which shows Sidhu sitting in the judge's chair, shocking regular judge Archana Puran Singh.
In the promo video, Kapil Sharma is seen confused and taken aback, questioning if Sunil Grover is disguised as Sidhu. The situation shifts to a comical encounter as Navjot Singh Sidhu affirms, "Yes, it is indeed me," in a humorous conversation.
When Archana Puran Singh enters the stage and makes a funny comment about being "threatened" by Sidhu sitting on her chair, the situation becomes even more hilarious. She said, “Kapil, tu sardar sahab se bol de, wo meri kursi se uth jaaye. Kabja karke baith gaye hain (Kapil, you tell Sardar sahab to get up from my chair. He has occupied it and is sitting there)”.
The promo was shared by Navjot Singh Sidhu on his official Instagram account.

Harbhajan Singh commented under the promo, "Paji chaaa gaye. Showtime with BOSSMAN @navjotsinghsidhu."
Navjot Singh Sidhu's Exit from 'The Kapil Sharma Show'
In 2019, Navjot Singh Sidhu left 'The Kapil Sharma Show' after a controversy. The criticism he received for his remarks on the February 2019 Pulwama incident was the main reason for his exit. Despite Sidhu's good intentions, his remarks on peace and understanding were heavily criticised after being misunderstood. The public was outraged and demanded that he be removed from the hit comedy program, as many perceived his comments as insensitive. As a result, Archana Puran Singh took his place.
