New Delhi: 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' will see the likes of women cast from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Heeramandi' which premiered on Netflix on May 1, 2024. Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Sharmin Segal, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sanjeeda Shaikh will be seen with show host Kapil Sharma in the comedy on the coming weekend.

On Wednesday, Netflix India released a new promo of the episode, in which Kapil is seen teasing Sonakshi Sinha about her wedding plans.


In the teaser, which has been doing the rounds on social media, we see the cast of 'Heeramandi' wait to have pani puri at a stall, where Kapil Sharma porrays the role of the sellar. When Sonakshi asks, "Bhaiya, sab ke liye paanipuri (serve everyone of us)!”, Kapil Sharma refuses by saying that those who call him 'Bhaiya' ( brother) will not be served.

Meanwhile, in another segment of the episode promo, we see Manisha Koirala talk about nervousness on set, before every scene, despite being a seasoned actor like her. Then, Richa Chadha is seen asking her fellow cast-members what was their highest number of retakes to which Sonakshi Sinha shared 'not more tha 12 takes'. Hoever, Richa's reply leaves everyone shoked when she says she gave 99 retakes. 


In another segment, we see Kiku Sharda dressed as a courtesan, and his act left everyone in splits of laughter.

Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma is also seen asking Sonakshi about her marriage plans after he gives examples of Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani getting married. Sinha then retorts, "Jale pe namak chirak rahe ho. Woh janta hei mujhe kitne zor se shaadi karni he( You are rubbing salt on my wounds knowing how badly I want to get married).


On the other hand, 'Heeramandi' has been directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It was released on Netflix on May 1, 2024.
