The actor Lee Byung-hun, who portrayed Front Man in the survival thriller 'Squid Game', will reprise his role in the sequel. The character played by Lee Byung-hun was that of Jun-ho's (Wi Ha-jun) brother, the first survivor of the game. The mystery is heightened by what his character has in store for the audience in the next sequel.

'Squid Game' was one of Netflix's most popular releases to date when it was first released more than two years ago. Speaking about the highly popular web series, it premiered on Netflix in September of 2021.

The story revolves around hundreds of underprivileged gamers accepting a mysterious invitation to participate in an array of games. Even while the winner may walk away with an appealing millions-dollar award, this usually comes at the expense of their lives. 'Squid Game 2' has been reported to be released on the OTT platform by the end of 2024.
