Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Varun Dhawan, Raj & DK and the cast and crew of 'CItadel: Honey Bunny' celebrated the success of their Prime Video show in Mumbai. An event of celebration was held at One8 Commune, which featured a star-studded guest list, including Nimrat Kaur, Avneet Kaur, Wamiqa Gabbi and Gulshan Devaiah, among several others.

For the celebration, Samantha wore a skin-coloured bodysuit with a beaded top and black flare pants. She sported her new hair colour and a wavy hairdo. Meanwhile, Varun kept his look casual as he wore a light blue t-shirt, blazer and pants.
Meanwhile, Raj & DK have been updating fans and audiences about the success of the show, with the various trending reports they have shared on their official Instagram handle. 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' was trending number 1 on Prime Video across the world within the first weekend of release and has dominated in the Top 5 in more than 84 countries.
Both Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have been appreciated for their performance in the film. Samantha, despite undergoing deep personal hardships, shot for the heavy-action-packed show despite wanting to quit it mid-way. Her diagnosis of myositis and the treatment of the autoimmune condition went side by side as she shot for the Raj and DK show.
Samantha recalling her struggle to do the part
In several recent interviews, Samantha revealed that she had sent pictures of actresses who could replace her and asked Raj & DK to go ahead despite her health struggles.
“I was absolutely fine when I got the opportunity to play Honey. I was overjoyed. But a few months later, I was the same person who requested Raj and DK to please choose another heroine to play Honey," Samantha shared. She even suggested names of actors like Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon, suggesting they would be better suited for the action-packed role. However, Raj & DK reinstating that she play the part, "Yeah, we know them, you don’t have to introduce us."
She told Galatta India, “Sometimes when God puts you in extraordinarily difficult circumstances, He gives you a life jacket. Raj, DK, and Sita Menon were mine. Their belief in me got me off my bed and fighting every day."
