Zeenat Aman, who rose to prominence in the 1970s with performances in movies like 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna', 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram', 'Roti Kapada Aur Makaan' shared insights into her iconic roles and personal choices.
For her role in the 1978 film 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram', she was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. Notably, when asked about a sequel to the film, featuring her iconic character Rupa, she promptly named Deepika Padukone as her ideal successor. For her biopic, the veteran actor chose Priyanka Chopra, whom she has admired over the years.
Beyond the reel world, Zeenat emphasized the importance of maintaining a firm sense of self-worth in the ever-changing landscape of fame. When quizzed by Karan Johar about the wildest thing she did in the 70s, she intriguingly responded, "I really did not party, but when the floodgates burst, they really did." Pressed further about the men in her life during that era, she simply replied, "No comment."
