New Delhi: Social media sensation Orry, aka Orhan Awatramani, appeared on the season finale of the celebrity chat show 'Koffee With Karan' and has once again done what he is best at – creating buzz on social media. The socialite answered all the questions asked by the host Karan Johar in his trademark style. The host was amused and shocked by his answers and so were netizens.
When asked about his fame, Orry had a rather strange answer to the question. He spoke about planning his own downfall and also spoke about his employees (minions in his language) who sit in a ‘relevance room’ and make strategies.
“I am planning my own downfall now. In the Orry office, we have a room called the relevance room, where all my minions, who have to dress up as me and think as me, are Orry 2, Orry 3, or Orry 4. They pitch ideas on how to keep me relevant; that's how I stay in the news. This is the hustle. Right now, we are planning my downfall. Then we will make a comeback,” he said making KJo speechless.
He also said that he has hired three doppelgangers who attend events disguised as him. “I have three silent doppelgangers. They have to be sent out to hold base until I arrive. They pose and dress like me but they don't talk.”
His answers left KJO and netizens stumped. A user on X called the episode straight out of ‘Black Mirror’ while a few couldn't comprehend whether he was serious or joking.
A user wrote, “Orry is the kind of guy who can startle Karan.”
“Orry is George Orwell's worst nightmare,” commented another user.
“Karan tried his best to make fun of whatever he was saying, but the answers were so unsettling even for him, this segment almost felt like a Black Mirror episode #KoffeeWithKaran,” wrote another user.
