The third season of 'Dubai Bling', which premiered on Netflix on January 8, has quickly captured viewers' attention with its heightened drama and glitz. This season introduces new cast members Jwana Karim, an Iraqi singer and actor, and Mahira Abdel Aziz, an actor and TV anchor, bringing even more sparkle to the reality show.

Among the cast, social media influencer and entrepreneur Farhana Bodi stands out as the only Indian participant. In a chat with News18 Showsha, Farhana, a single mother hailing from Gujarat and the architect of her own multi-million-dollar empire, shared her admiration for Netflix’s Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.

Farhana Bodi on Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives

“I’ve watched the show, and the girls are my friends. I met them through Sanjay (Kapoor). I told him I love Maheep (Kapoor) and Seema (Sajdeh), and he introduced us. We chat on social media, and whenever I visit India, I meet them. I even met Bhavana (Pandey) when she was in Dubai,” she told News 18.

Both Dubai Bling and Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives delve into the lives of the rich and famous, offering audiences a peek into their relationships, friendships, and personal dramas. When asked about the possibility of a crossover between the two shows, Farhana said, “There’s nothing planned as of now, but I would love to do a podcast with Shalini.”

Farhana praises Shalini Passi

Farhana also expressed her admiration for Shalini Passi, known for her candid personality on Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. “I saw Shalini at an award show. She’s so cute and fun. I really like her. Shalini and I connected well. I’m also real and blunt. Shalini Passi is famous because she’s authentic, and people relate to her. Similarly, I don’t try to be someone else. I never put anyone down,” she told News 18.

Farhana and Shalini also share a love for bold fashion, often making headlines for their striking style. Addressing the criticism she faces for her fashion choices, Farhana said, “They (Safa Siddiqui and Zeina Khoury) are from corporate backgrounds. They’re real estate agents who started their own companies, so they won’t relate to my sense of fashion.”

She continued, “I’m a fashion girl. I’ve been in the industry for years and am an icon for many people. I attend fashion weeks. It’s okay if they comment. They don’t know my journey. I’ve lived in India, London, and South Africa. I’m a global girl, and my life experiences are on a different level. I live a glamorous life now, but I hustled for it," she was quoted as saying by News 18.
