New Delhi: There are several reasons why 'Made in Heaven' season 2 is becoming a greater hit. But one of the sequel's seven episodes—specifically—has garnered much attention. Prakash Ambedkar, a Dalit activist and the grandson of BR Ambedkar, has now praised Neeraj Ghaywan's fifth episode.

On Monday, Prakash Ambedkar shared two screenshots from the 'Made in Heaven' episode on Twitter. Radhika Apte plays a Dalit bride named Pallavi in this episode. From the Buddhist wedding in the episode, the viral photo of a Buddha and BR Ambedkar appears in one of the pictures.

“I absolutely loved the assertion, defiance and resistance of the Dalit woman character — Pallavi. For those Vanchits and Bahujans who have watched the episode — Assert your identity and only then you gain political prominence. As Pallavi puts it, ‘Everything is about the politics.’ Jai Bhim!,” Prakash wrote in the caption.

The Buddhist wedding that took place at the end of Neeraj's episode of the show has gone viral on the internet. Pallavi Menke, an Ivy League lawyer and author, marries outside her caste in the fifth episode of 'Made in Heaven' season 2, titled 'The Heart Skipped a Beat'.

Neeraj, who helmed that episode of 'Made in Heaven' Season 2, retweeted Prakash's comments. “This is everything! Thank you so much, sir!,” he wrote.

In his critically praised 2015 film 'Masaan', which also starred Vicky Kaushal, Shweta Tripathi, and Richa Chadha, Neeraj previously portrayed Dalit characters. 'Made in Heaven' Season 2 is now streaming on Prime Video India. It is created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.
