New Delhi: Television actor Falaq Naaz, who is presently a contestant on Salman Khan's 'Bigg Boss OTT 2', breaks down as she recalls the trying time in her life after her brother Sheezan Khan went to jail. After the suicide of his 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul' co-star Tunisha Sharma, Sheezan spent days in jail. At the time, Tunisha and Sheezan were rumoured to be dating.
During the shooting of 'Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul' last year, Tunisha Sharma was found dead in Sheezan Khan's makeup room. Sheezan was detained on December 24 on charges of abetting her suicide. On March 4, the Vasai court in Maharashtra granted him bail. His sister Falaq Naazz spoke candidly about the episode on the reality show.
In the most recent episode, Falaq broke down in tears as she remembered visiting Sheezan in jail with their younger brother Shabbi.
“How can I take credit for standing up for my family. If not me, who would have done it? Who would have stood up for my mother, brother? Only I would have to stand up for them… If you are not loyal to your family, you cannot be loyal to anyone in life. The difficulties that we have gone during that time, it’s hard to describe. My younger brother Shabbi, he used to remember Sheezan day and night when he was put behind the bars, and we were not able to tell him when his brother would be able to return home. We took him to meet Sheezan in jail, I couldn’t go because I did not have the courage to face Sheezan. They both stood opposite windows and Shabbi was crying continuously and asking when he he’ll return home,” she said.
“Maine kaise sambhala hai main he jaanti hoon (Only I know how I managed)… people were saying at that time karma is a b***h, indeed karma is a b***h. I am scared of attachments now and it is because of this incident,” she added.
Meanwhile, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui was eliminated from 'Bigg Boss OTT 2'. Following an unforeseen midweek eviction on the show, she had to leave the house. The other contestants who are inside the house are Avinash Sachdev, Palak Purswani, Bebika Dhurve, Jiya Shankar, Falaq Naazz, Akanksha Puri, Jad Hadid, Cyrus Broacha, Manisha Rani, Abhishek Malhan, and Pooja Bhatt.
