New Delhi: 'Big Boss OTT' winner Elvish Yadav has been reportedly released by Kota police. The YouTuber was allegedly taken into custody in Rajasthan, according to India TV. Elvish has been accused by BJP MP Maneka Gandhi of illegally smuggling snake venom, and she has called for his immediate arrest.

According to reports, the police had set up a blockage in Kota due to the state elections. Around this time, Elvish was also making his way through. As per India TV report, Elvish realized there was a barrier, he began to leave, and Kota district Suket police grabbed him.

"During routine checking in view of the Assembly polls (in five states), Elvish Yadav, along with his friends, was stopped at a check post on his way to Kota. After interrogation and confirmation from Noida police that he isn't wanted and the case against him is under investigation, he was let go," DSP Kailash Chand, Anti Corruption Bureau, told PTI.

Yadav was charged by the Noida Police on Friday, along with five other people, for allegedly using snake venom at rave parties. People for Animals (PFA), an animal rights organization, set a trap that led to the rescue of snakes, including cobras, from the hands of the arrested accused who had gone to a banquet hall in Sector 51 on Thursday for a party.

Nine snakes—five cobras, one python, one two-headed snake, and one rat snake—as well as 20 milliliters of snake venom, had been seized by the authorities, according to the FIR, which was filed under wildlife sections 9, 39, 49, 50, and 51 and IPC section 120B.

Elvish Yadav posted a video message to Instagram and said, "All the accusations against me are baseless and utterly untrue. There isn't even a shred of truth in any of them. Please refrain from tarnishing my reputation. I am fully prepared to collaborate with the UP Police in their investigation. If even the slightest fraction of these allegations turn out to be accurate, I will take full responsibility".

Popular YouTuber and social media influencer Elvish Yadav denied the charges and stated that he is ready to cooperate with the police on the probe.
