New Delhi: Resuming his directing career after his last film 'Street Dancer 3D', choreographer-turned-filmmaker Remo D'Souza returns with a warm and fuzzy dance drama 'Be Happy'. The film, which features Abhishek Bachchan as the protagonist, is set to debut exclusively on Prime Video on March 14. It offers a new, emotionally driven narrative focused on dance and family.
In ‘Be Happy’, we follow a little girl (played by Inayat Verma) as she pursues her ambition of becoming a famous dancer. The narrative centres on her resolve to persuade her hesitant father, portrayed by Abhishek Bachchan, to shift their family from Ooty and go to Mumbai to compete in a renowned dancing competition. Despite initial resistance, the father agrees—with one catch—that he will need to master dance steps if he wants to support his daughter.
Set amid the ups and downs of a carefree family, the film has an outstanding ensemble cast that includes, among others, Johny Lever, Nora Fatehi, Inayat Verma, Nassar and Harleen Sethi. Electrifying dancing moves, touching moments, and humour all come together in the charming trailer.
