A video clip from the Shakitmaan actor's interview is being shared on Twitter wherein he says "Mard alag hota hai, aurat alag hoti hai" (Women are different from men).

His original statement given in Hindi translates to "Women are different from men. Women's creation is different from that of men. A woman's duty is to be a homemaker. Pardon me I say this sometimes that the problem of Me Too arose from when women started working (outside). Women talk about walking with men as equals. People will talk about woman lib(eration) but let me tell you the problem arises from this point".
"The first family member to suffer is the family's child who does not get to be with his mother. He has to watch Saas bhi kabhi bahu thi with his caretaker. So from that point on, all this started happening - when women say I will do what the man is doing. No, a woman is a woman and a man is a man," he goes on.
The actor has been a talking point over his recent statements ranging from raising objection over 'Laxmmi Bomb' film title, calling 'The Kapil Sharma Show' vulgar to the opinions he shared over the Sushant Singh Rajput death case and more.
This new statement is already garnering negative reactions, however, will the 'Shaktimaan' respond to them remains to be seen.
