New Delhi: Kiran Rao's second directorial 'Laapataa Ladies,' has been captivating audiences since its release on the big screens, now running strong for its 5th consecutive day. Despite a limited release, 'Laapataa Ladies' garnered Rs 4.12 crore in its opening weekend, with a 5-day total of Rs 4.95 crore. In a gesture of celebration and appreciation, the makers have decided to reduce ticket prices for their film to just Rs 100 on the special occasion of International Women’s Day, recognising the tremendous response received over the past 5 days.


Released on March 1, 2024, 'Laapataa Ladies' promises an enthralling narrative based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami. To honour International Women’s Day (March 8th) with fervour, ticket prices have been slashed to Rs 100 nationwide.


Announcing the special offer on social media, the makers shared, "Special offer to watch our #LaapataaLadies with your ladies now in your near cinemas, to aa rahe hai naa aap?" 






This unique initiative reflects producers’ commitment to making quality cinema accessible to a wider audience. With engaging storytelling based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami, 'Laapataa Ladies' promises an unforgettable cinematic experience. 


Crafted by Sneha Desai, with additional dialogues by Divyanidhi Sharma, the film stars Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam and Ravi Kishan.


As audiences continue to shower their love and appreciation, the reduced ticket prices aim to welcome more cinema lovers to witness the magic of 'Laapataa Ladies' on the big screen.


Note: Ticket prices vary depending on the location, with prices ranging from Rs 170 to Rs 1500 for shows in Delhi-NCR.
