After Deepika Padukone, her co-star from ‘Padmaavat Shahid Kapoor will become the latest Bollywood celebrity to have his own wax statue at Madam Tusaauds soon. The ‘Haider’ actor shared the good news with his fans on Instagram. Kapoor posted a picture with the caption, “Keep an eye out. Coming soon.” More details about Shahid’s figure at the museum are yet to be revealed.

Shahid, who is on a career high post the release of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, is set to welcome his second child with wife Mira Rajput. His statue being unveiled at Madame Tussauds is definitely a double bonanza for the actor.

On the professional front, Shahid Kapoor will be next seen in Shree Narayan Singh's 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'. The film, which also stars Shradhha Kapoor and Yami Gautam, is slated to release on September 21, 2018.

Shahid and Mira recently bought their dream home in Mumbai's Worli for a whopping amount.  It is yet to be known when the celebrity couple will shift to their new base.



The Madame Tussauds museum in Delhi currently showcases wax  statues of leading Indian personalities such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and others.
