What we liked:
Performances
Shahid in 'Batti Gul...' trailer
In the first half, Shahid Kapoor is shown as a happy-go-lucky, free-spirited guy and a corrupt lawyer. Whereas in the second half, his role goes through a complete transition as his best friend (role played by Divyendu Sharma) commits suicide and he decides to avenge his friend's death in the court. Shahid has already proven his versatility with films like 'Jab We Met', Kaminey', 'Haider, 'Padmaavat' among others and he looked perfect for the character of Vimal Bisht in 'Batti Gul...' trailer. Shraddha Kapoor plays Shahid's love-interest who supports him in difficult situations whereas Yami Gautam plays the opposition lawyer who is locking horns with Shahid in the court. Both, Yami & Shraddha made their presence felt in the trailer and are looking great. 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' fame Divyendu Sharma plays the victim of electricity fraud and his performance surely gets your attention in the trailer.
Music

They have reunited onscreen with 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' after a gap of 4 years but their on-screen chemistry is looking very fresh in the film. Shahid & Shraddha look cute together and their fans are loving the adorable moments shared by them in the film's trailer.
