The movie is an official adaptation of the 2005 novel 'The Devotion of Suspect X' by Keigo Higashino. The movie directed by Sujoy Ghosh marks the OTT debut of Kareena Kapoor Khan. Gangubai Kathiawadi

The movie is based on the story of the real-life Hiramandi red light district mafia queen Gangubai, who also happened to operate brothels and advocate for the rights of the sex workers who worked there. Hussain Zaidi and Jane Borges's Mafia Queens of Mumbai served as inspiration for the movie. Alia Bhatt plays the lead role of Gangubai, and the movie is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Saawariya

The movie 'Saawariya', directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is an adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky's short Russian novel 'White Nights.' Ranbir Kapoor’s Bollywood debut tells the narrative of a young man's coming of age while also being a love story.
