New Delhi: Music composer Wajid Khan passed away on Monday (June 1), leaving the industry and fans in a state of shock. He was 42. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and other celebs like Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez and Sonam Kapoor mourned his death on social media. Wajid died due to Coronavirus and kidney related ailment at Surana Sethia hospital in Mumbai.
Wajid’s brother Sajid Khan took to Instagram to share an unseen video of the late musician. Wajid can be seen playing piano on a piano app on a phone while sitting on his hospital bed.
Sajid shared the video along with a heartfelt message, which will make you emotional. He called his brother a ‘legend’ and said that ‘legends don’t die. He added that neither Wajid never left music nor will music leave him.

“Duniya chut gayi, sab kuch chuta, na tune kabhi music chodda,na music tujhe kabhi chodega. My brother is a legend and legends don’t die. I will always love you. Mere Khushi mein,meri duaaon mein, mere naam mein tu hamesha rahega,” Sajid wrote.
Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages. They also called Wajid Khan a legend.
Sajid Khan got emotional while bidding farewell to his brother. He was consoled by his friends during Wajid’s last rites. Wajid was buried at Mumbai’s Versova cemetery on Monday afternoon.
Wajid's wife and kids were also snapped at his funeral by the paparazzi. They were spotted wearing masks and gloves at the cremation ground.
The duo of Sajid-Wajid last worked together for Salman Khan’s ‘Bhai Bhai’. As the ‘Dabangg 3’ actor couldn’t release his film on Eid 2020, he surprised his fans with a special treat on the festival.
Wajid started and ended his career with Salman Khan. The ‘Bharat’ star paid tribute to him on Twitter.
"Wajid Vil always love, respect, remember n miss u as a person n ur talent, Love u n may your beautiful soul rest in peace," he wrote on the micro-blogging site.
