Last year, Varun Dhawan had tested positive for COVID-19 while shooting for ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ in Chandigarh. His co-star and Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Singh had also contracted the virus during the shoot. The film, which is being directed by Raj Mehta, also stars Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor.

Varun shared a series of adorable photos with his new pet dog, revealing his name. He had earlier asked his fans to suggest a name for his little ‘boy’.

The ‘Sui Dhaaga’ star posted love-filled photos with his wife Natasha Dalal on Instagram along with the caption, “Puppy power. Joey.”

On the professional front, Varun Dhawan was last seen in ‘Coolie No.1’. The comedy drama co-starring Sara Ali Khan and Paresh Rawal premiered directly on Amazon Prime Video on Christmas 2020. Despite the scathing reviews, the film managed to perform well on the OTT platform.

Dhawan will entertain the audience with a horror comedy titled ‘Bhediya’, which is slated to hit the silver screens on February 14, 2022. Varun and Kriti Sanon have filmed the first schedule of the upcoming flick in Arunachal Pradesh.
